Aston Place is in a neighbourhood that is very well connected to the rest of the city.

Next door is the Mailbox, a canal side shopping centre that is home to the BBC, the Everyman cinema, and a range of cafes, restaurants, and bars. It is a 10 minute walk along the canal away from Arena Central which includes Centenary Square, home to The Library of Birmingham.
