Special Achievement Award

In recognition for the significant impact she has made to the Build to Rent industry, Founder of Love to Rent, Anne-Marie Brown has been shortlisted for a Special Achievement Award at this year’s PropTech Association Awards 2021.

The awards recognise and celebrate talented individuals and deserving companies in the real estate and technology industry over the past year.

Anne-Marie Brown, Founder and CEO of Love to Rent comments, “I am thrilled to be recognised amongst this fantastic shortlist for the work we have been doing to make a positive impact and raise customer awareness in the Build to Rent market. We are passionate and committed about transforming the way people see renting and changing outdated perceptions. Through the work we do as Love to Rent we are succeeding.”

Since launching Love to Rent in 2019, Anne-Marie has been determined to help the Build to Rent industry move forward in a positive way. In May 2021, she launched ‘Love to Rent Week’, the first customer awareness week for the sector, which was supported by BPF, UKAA and major BTR organisations with national and regional press targeted and key messages promoted across all social platforms.

A 30 second customer facing video was also commissioned in a tone that was clear for the customer and provided to all BTR organisations and supported by a dedicated website for the week. In just one week, growth to the website increased by 70% and the video was viewed over 50,000 time on You Tube.

This September Love to Rent also became the first ever Build to Rent exhibitor at the London Home Show, traditionally a marketplace for private sale and shared ownership homes. This shift has signalled that the industry and customers are aware of the significant work Anne-Marie has done, through Love to Rent, and continues to do so to raise the profile of Build to Rent.
